Hello everyone! Are you staying at home and keeping safe? With lockdowns
and quarantines, we have all been home for too long but for own good. We
thought a little Instagram challenge would be refreshing and that was how we
started our #WYstayathomeandread challenge in July.
We received over 200+ entries including those of Pakistani author Sara
Naveed and Canadian author Edy Graziani who participated in
#WYstayathomeandwrite, the writer's edition of the challenge.
For round two of the #WYstayathomeandread challenge in August, we put
together seven prompts based on the parts of a novel. We received
insightful entries that displayed a variety of book covers and
illustrations, dedications and more, and discussed interesting information
such as about the different kinds of prologue for example.
As the lockdowns continued, and staying at home was still the ideal thing
to do, we put together a third round of the challenge in September, this
time themed on your experiences as a reader.
With this we wrapped up our Stay at Home and Read challenge and hope that
we did make a difference to your lockdown life. With places reopening, we
are no longer at home all the time but it is important to wear a mask,
practice hand hygiene and social distancing at all times outside home.
Thank you for participating in our challenge and we look forward to seeing
you in the next!
